Under our administration, disabled Blue Badge holders from other local authorities will no longer have to pay for parking. Charging Blue Badge holders was a penny-pinching measure from the Tories: it was discriminatory, ill-thought out and pointless – achieving nothing more than tying up council officers in dealing with complaints. We are pleased to have reversed that policy, and welcome all visitors to our town.
