The Council is preparing a strategy to tackle the issue and is seeking to involve residents early on in the process to help guide the writing of the strategy.

Through this engagement the Council is looking to understand:

-The prevalence of damp and mould in the city

-Experiences of tenants with damp and mould issues, including the responses to these issues

-Responses of landlords to damp and mould issues

-The general level of knowledge of damp and mould, including rights and responsibilities

-The level and suitability of communication around damp, mould, and condensation

The Council will be running the consultation and survey until 5pm on Friday 23rd February.
