Michelle Williams for Leigh Ward
I have been a local resident for many years. My career has involved numerous public sector roles, and I currently work as a Domestic Abuse Coordinator. A passionate Labour voter throughout my life, I was inspired to join the party in 2015 and became active during the snap election. I also support Save Southend NHS, the campaign to protect local NHS services. I have taken a proactive role in local Labour events, and made the decision to stand as a councillor with significant support and backing from local members. I am driven by my principles of fairness, equality and empathy. I believe that this is a crucial and exciting time for the Labour Party. I am married with two young children.
