I have lived in Southend for ten years and currently reside in Prittlewell Ward with my young daughter.
Community service has always been a part of my life. I hold the Queen’s Scout Award and Citizen of the Year for community service.
Trained in mathematics, science and education to postgraduate level I have worked as a teacher for over twenty years. The voice of young people is important to me and I encourage them to register to vote.
As a scientist I’ve worked in two hospitals and the future of Southend Hospital services and staffing drives my decision to stand for Prittlewell Ward.
If elected I will strive to achieve the most positive outcomes for Prittlewell residents. As a resident of the ward and with a child in Prittlewell School catchments I want the best possible services for us all.
