Margaret Borton

It has been a pleasure to represent all the residents of Victoria Ward, irrespective of their political views, and I have successfully dealt with issues ranging from housing matters to those linked to the benefits system. I serve on a number of council committees including: Development Control, Traffic and Parking and The People Scrutiny Committee.

As a member of the Development Control Committee, I have always done my best to challenge developers who propose development that isn't suitable and support housing that is genuinely meets the needs of local people.

I am also a governor at Milton Hall School. I live locally; I am married with two adult children, am partially retired, working two days a week for the Civil Service. If re-elected I will continue to represent the residents of Victoria Ward to the best of my ability and act promptly on all matters which residents bring to my attention.
